Seek My Face...
"If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place."
(2 Chronicles 7:14-15)
One Thing we must understand or realise, is that, there are certain times when the Lord will call on to us out of our daily life routine and require our attention (such times or season is called visitation of the Lord).
Just as He called onto David. David's reply was "When though didst say, 'Seek My Face' my heart said to the, 'Thy face, O Lord, I shall seek" (Psalm 27:8)
When God calls you, you'll find that, it is out of His generosity and love. When He calls us, He has something precious and important to abound towards us that we cannot comprehend out of our daily devotion. In many cases, God wants to have a close relationship or fellowship with His people, His children. 2 Chronicles 16:9 says, "The Lord keeps close watch over the whole world, to give strength to those whose hearts are loyal to Him."
If we would be willing to draw near to Him. He's willing to draw closer. (James 4:8). Choose to leave your camp of comfort or familliarity and pitch your tent in the presence of God. He is waiting there to have intimacy with you. What are you waiting for? Job 36:11... |
